Great Minifgures, Not So Great Vehicle

After buying this set, I felt like the price was a bit high. It was nice that Iron Man and Mandarin minifigures were together in a cheap set, but the set is really only worth buying for the minifigures. Even the Captain America set for 'The Avengers' had a nice motorcycle. Lego seems to be making less for more money with the included structures and vehicles. Fortunately, the minifgures just keep getting better.
The vehicle is easy to build and very durable. The post which houses the weapons easily turns and the actual weapon station rotates up and down, but other than that, the vehicle just rolls and holds Mandarin. The weapon on the vehicle houses two flick-fire missiles which is cool, but they are a little difficult to fire because the housing section rotates up and down and the pipe running up to it gets in the way when you try to flick it hard.
The Iron Man minifigure is built the same way that the Avengers' Iron Man figures are built just with different armor. Also like the previous figures, the blue pieces to make Iron Man look like he is flying are a great addition (the set even includes one extra blue piece for his foot and one for his hand in case one breaks or gets lost). The design is great and the armor does look bright and cool in person. Mandarin's figure is a standard minifigure except for the beard and his gun. It is nice to have the character but the minifigure is not necessarily anything particularly special.
On the whole, the minifigures make the set worth buying, just don't expect too much from the vehicle.

Lego pricing is great. I send my grandson who lives in another state care packages often. He enjoys this very much and AMazon makes it easy for me to be a great Nana.

Better than I thought: good for the price

To start out: when I bought this I expected to be let down but I wanted it to complete my collection and for 13 dollars, it was not a big deal. When I got it I realized that what I was getting was A: A unique Iron Man minifig (not found in any other set) and a Mandarin minifig that looks a lot better under the lighting I have at home than whatever they put on it to take the pictures for the box (it looks too shiny there)... All in all, not the best lego has to offer but based on the price, I would recommend it.
