A new kind of Lego for a new look Joker

Here's the thing: I'm not a Lego guy. I mean, I love it and I look at some of the huge sets and wish that I owned them and the Lego Millenium Falcon is simply amazing, but beyond thinking "That'd be nice to have - woah, look at the price! Pass!" I have never bought any Lego since I was a kid. And then purely by chance I see that Lego have put out a Batman collection - and I am a huge Batman fan. Within moments of discovering it my hand had unknowingly clicked "add to basket" for all three figures (Batman, Joker, and Green Lantern) and I was counting the days to get the figures.
First off, I love the packaging. So well designed, it really looks good and Lego have done DC proud by advertising their goods so attractively. Opening it up, it doesn't look like Lego. I'm accustomed to Lego being bricks and whatnot, here there are plastic bits but they're thin black plastic tubes with balls at certain points (the only recognisable piece of Lego is the tip of the gun).
The balls are where you click into place the other parts which allows for manoeuvrability for the figure because once assembled (and for a twenty-something man-child it took me 15 mins, maybe a 6 year old would do it quicker/slower, I don't know, but the instructions are very clear and the Joker easy to put together) you can move his arms, legs, head and coat-tails (those purple horns behind him) but you can have him standing or sitting, holding the gun or without, coat-tails up or down.
And what can I say? I love it. I know it's not classic Joker because Lego have made him look robotic (he's wearing a power suit) but essentially it's him. And it looks so great on my desk. I look over and see him grinning manically as he sits on some books, pointing his gun at me, and it makes me smile.
It's a great looking toy that, as a Batman fan, I utterly adore. I knew I had to have it when I saw it and I don't feel let down by it. Any Batman fan will love this too, and it's a really great piece of decoration for any office space.

Very Cool and Larger than I expected it to be!

This LEGO figurine of the Joker is very cool! The box doesn't do this justice. I couldn't believe the size of it when it was built. I mean it is not huge but some of the LEGO sets you buy they end up being so tiny. This one is very cool and I recommend it for any LEGO or Joker fan!!!
